In only our fifth full year of competition we have made remarkable progress against the best-funded and resourced teams in the country and ran as high as 4th place during the 2000 FAI 1000 Classic at Mt. Panorama, Bathurst.

You can follow our progress as we compete in the V8 Supercar Championship series, the pinicle of Australian V8 Supercar racing which sees the legendary battle of Holden vs Ford.

Having competed 3 season's in the V8 Supercar Championship Series, the Toll Racing Team was formed in the mid 1990's with a "career path" that brought them via the Porsche Cup Championship and into V8 Supercar's on a part-time basis since 1997. You can see this in more detail if you go to the history section from the above button directory. Prior to 2000, the team's V8 Supercar activities encompassed selected events including the Bathurst 1000 kilometre, and Sandown 500 endurance races where former Formula One World Champion, Alan Jones MBE joined the team as co-driver.

Costing in excess of a four hundred thousand ($400k) dollars, the supercars that take to the tracks bear no resemblance to your road-going counterpart, except for their sheet-metal skins. Achieving speeds of over 300 km/h, the Toll Racing VY has been designed and built with the latest in touring car technology, from brakes to suspension, gearbox and differential, sophisticated on-board computer management, and a 650 horsepower V8 engine.
